  • Adding small picture to video.

I am making a video on vegas, and I am trying to add a small picture to the bottom corner, along with the word ‘loading’ I need the picture to be solid, but the white around the object to be transparent. Any help?

If the “white” area isn’t transparent in the image, you can use the ChromaKey tool to change the white to transparent. If it’s an easy shape to follow (i.e. rectangular), you might find it easier to use the Bezier Masking tool in Pan/Crop.

Personally, I’d make sure the background is transparent in the original image. Save it as a PNG or PSD (which preserve transparency), and then load it on the timeline. If the background then isn’t transparent, right-click it, go into properties, and change the alpha channel mode.

Sounds like you are trying to add a logo type event to the corner. Follow Edwards advice for the tranparency then drop it on a track above your video and use pan crop to resize and place it.
