I often need to import many sets of .tiff sequences that are in the same folder. It is tough to navigate and find each sequence. Unlike other systems that group the sequences in the finder.

Is there any easy way to “batch” import multiple sequences?

Lloyd Alvarez of aescripts.com is in development of a script called “immigration” which does just this. According to him it should be out in the near future, keep an eye out.

Okay… I’m following your instructions, but as I get to the folder it doesn’t show any clips and in the import multiple files folder at the bottom where it says “Import as” I have a pull down menu that shows me footage, underneath that there’s a select box that says sequence not available and another that says force alphabetical order…. Do I do anything with those select boxes before I hit the “Import Folder” button?

    Thanks in advance.
