Some how, I can’t render a .MOV file in Sony Vegas Pro 8.0. I select a setting or a stock setting from the list, click save and, it says “100%” within a second, thus, producing no video file at all. I have the latest quicktime update (7.4) and can’t figure this out.

Another question, for the MainConcept AVC/ACC setting, is there a streaming option for MP4s…is there one at all in V8? I’d like to use this option due to smaller file size compared to a MOV file. But I can’t render in MOV anyway, as of now. So, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hey there. I know the problem with the .mov files happened to me as well. It happened when I was rendering the .mov files directly to my server, as opposed to my computer’s D Drive. If I render them directly to my D the problem was fixed, dont’ know why, it just didn’t like to save them directly to the server. Hope that helps!
