    Hello,

I want to cut my movie and then bring it into After Effects. I want to use 32 bits for that transfert. But editing in vegas in 32 bits is a bit slow. My preview falls from 29fps to about 7 or 8. I was wondering, would it be ok to make my cuts (no effects)in 8 bits and then before my rendering, change back the project settings to 32 bits?

    Thanks!

If you’re like most of us and don’t own a supercomputer, that’s the recommended procedure.

I recently did an export of AAF from Vegas and it opened very well in Premiere Pro. I didn’t render anything. Might give that a try.

You mean the project was opened with all the cuts done in Vegas available for modification in Premiere? I wonder how it would come out in After Effects. Can After Effects open AAF files?
