  Vegas 6 – video: stream attributes could not be…

  Hello, if anyone can help me with this i would greatly appreciate it.

  i am trying to edit some footage in vegas 6 shot originally with a super 8, the format now is quicktime movie.

  when i open or drag the file into vegas only the audio track appears. when i import the media and view the properties i get a message box saying “Video: stream attributes could not be”… (i assume the rest is ‘determined’). if anyone can help me solve this i would be very greatful. thank you.

  I think the problem is with the new version of quicktime. I solved this problem by deinstalling itunes (not sure if you have to do this part), then going to oldapps.com and installing an older version of quicktime. Works fine now. 🙂
