Activity Forums VEGAS Pro subclip question

    Nope. A subclip is just a pointer to where a clip starts and ends. You’d have to render the subclip to be able to use it in another project. Fortunately this is very quick to do and, as the codec in Vegas is very good, you won’t suffer a quality hit.

    Yes. Open Vegas TWICE and arrange them so you can see both Project Medias. Now drag the sub-clips (or even sub folders) from one instance to the other. If you have named the sub-clips, you’ll lose the names.

    Edward,
    It looks like that only works with folders. Individual clips wouldn’t drag n drop. However, I was able to copy and paste a subclip from one timeline to another.
