    Hi All,

Just received SV Pro 8. I am unable to open SV6 veg files in it. The error I’m getting is: “The com object failed to initalized” Then in the description there’s a loooong number and “Media Generator”. The project still runs in SV6 so I removed the media generator stuff and it’s still the same.

    Any Help?

The “generated media” is probably still in the Project Media. Delete it from there too.

Damn you’re good. It worked after removing the media from the imported stuff.

    Thanks.

NB. Are the guy from SV pro 8 gift insert “ThoughtEquity”? How does one invoke the plugin?

I wrote the script. After you install it, go to Tools – Scripting – Thought Equity Motion Search

Sorry, I know this is off topic but which 15 are the free clips as per your gift?

Hi, sorry to bump this thread, but I’ve been having a similar issue.
When I try an open a particular saved project it crashes and gives me the same error message that digit0 describes after loading to about 70%.
I am using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0b.
    System spec: Windows XP SP2, 2.66GHZ P4, 512MB ATI X1950, 2GB RAM.
Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated, since I was about one step away from exporting the entire project!

    Thanks, Steve.
