  • Video FX only affecting one half of video?

    Okay, this has me stumped.

I am using Video FX. Basic stuff — black and white, TV simulator, etc.

When I apply the effect, it is only affecting the right HALF of the image.

For instance, if I use “black and white”, it’s like there’s an invisible line down the middle of the image and ONLY the right half becomes black and white.

I have no idea what I could have done to make this happen, or how to fix it. Any ideas?

Click the “Split Screen View” icon (just above the top left corner of the Preview window to disable it.
When it’s enabled, click the drop-down arrow right next to it for several viewing options including “Select Right Half”.

In the Preview window, there is a half moon/half circle button. You’ve depressed/enabled it. This splits the screen into a before/after preview (amongst other things).

    Thanks guys! Worked perfectly.

Sony should be paying you guys for helping to show schlubs like me what a great program Vegas really is.
