Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Type 1 or type 2?

    Here is a line from another forum I visit.

    The usual video format for home digital video is DV Type 1, which is
    what you get if you were to capture your home video from a DV or
    Digital8 camcorder using Sony’s capture tool (as well as many others).
    Some older tools might capture in DV Type 2,

    I was under the impression (maybe incorrectly) that what I captured from my Sony PD150 and had on the time line was DV avi type 2. Can anybody give me more information on this?

    Content captured from Vegas is a type 2 file. Vegas prefers type 2 files
