  in AE: frame save as – problem

  hi
  in after effects i have 4 button layers ((+)but1 and so on) and one background layer
  the original comp size is: 720 x 576

  I try to do this:
  composition – save frame – photoshop with layers
  when I examined the resulting psd file the size is always 360 x 288
  why is it half as big as the ae project ?
  what am I doing wrong ?

  hi,
  you have to make sure that the resolution in your Comp panel is set to Full, otherwise AE renders only 1 pixel out of 2 if it is set to Half, 1 out of 3 if set to third, etc.
