audio off not in sync when rendering out with vegas 6
When Im rendering im get a slight audio sync problem.Its 30p sd footage shot with a dvx100a. Ive been tweaking the rendering setting for wmv9.Could that be it,the raw footage is fine.

Even though you said it’s 30p, odds are that it’s really 29.97.
WMV defaults to 30 fps but 29.97 is an option.
Try that and see if your problem goes away. -
No on the dvx 100a you can shoot 30 frames progressive.

I realize that but I still think there’s a chance that it’s 29.97 as this is the NTSC standard.
In the Project Media tab in Vegas, click on any AVI from this camera, switch to Detailed View and scroll over to the Frame Rate column.
What does it say there? -
Im sorry I misunderstood you, could it be the avi are 0.909 pixel and for wm9 the only choice you have is 1 squared?

That’s just the pixel aspect ratio and wouldn’t have any effect on your audio issues.
The one thing you haven’t done is defined your “slight audio sync problem”.
Where and when (on the timeline) is it happening?
Does it get progressively worse? -
its fine on the timeline, when I batch render out.The mpeg4 is fine but the wmv9 has the sync problem its just alittle off and its consistent from beginning to the end.so right now,I have to add the extra steps of using Cleaner which is a pain.
