  render alpha’d tga sequence to AVI with Alpha

  I need to render and alpha’d tga sequence to AVI with Alpha.

  I started with a series of targa files from my animator. I import the first Targa into Vegas as a targa sequence (using the check box).
  When it comes into my project media it shows the alpha. Drag it to the timeline and still works fine.
  I needed to share this with another editor so I rendered out an AVI the right length. The rendered AVI does not maintain the alpha channel so the object is on a black background. I’m stumped how to keep the alpha channel! DUH
