Transitions
Posted by Lauraitt on May 11, 2007 at 11:05 amHi
Im trying out some of the transitions and Ive noticed that they show very fast and end up not looking as well as they should. Is there a way of making the transitions last longer ?? Ive messed around with some of the settings but cannot find the answer to this.
Thanks for the help,

Either the spin or the fly in/out. I just want them to last about 2 seconds. I remember in final cut pro you could just drag the transition to lengthen it.

May 11, 2007 at 2:44 pmThe duration of transitions is dependant on the amount of overlap between events. The more overlap, the longer the transition.

Just take your mouse pointer and move it to the upper left corner of your image or footage. Left click, hold the button down and drag to the right. It should display how long your fade is going to be. Release the mouse button, bring it down half way and right click. Nopw, go down to transition properties and select your transition.
