  Shuttle Xpress controlling external Deck

  Hello,

  I can’t get my Shuttle Xpress to control my external Sony SX tape machine via the SDI capture settings. (I have control on the timeline)

  I loaded the preset for Sony Vegas 6.0 Capture and applied it to my device. I call Contour Design; they said I need to configure the shuttle to the shortcut keyboard. Huh? I thought that what they did with the preset file. I looked in the help section but could not any reference to the shortcut keys for the video capture transport. The preset file for Sony Vegas 6 Capture is F17, F18, F19, F20, F21 (right knob turn) and (left knob turn) Control+F17, Control+F18, Control+F19, Control+F20.

  Do you have your target application set correctly within the Shuttle control panel?
