I’m trying the supplied magic bullet effects that came with vegas 7. I like them.

I’m assuming that there is more functionality with the full versions, but am hoping that I could at least identify which “setting” or event FX I chose when returning to the page.

I used three magic bullet settings and they all say the same thing “Magic Bullet Movie Looks HD”
and nothing more. I can see amount blended at least. So am I correct in my assumption?

Will the full package let you go back and ID and tweak?

THis seems to be the case with other plugins as well- can’t figure out which ones were used without writing them down.

    THanks

When you use effects in Vegas and pick a preset, you are simply adjusting the values to that preset’s values. When you exit the FX box and go back in, you will see the preset name is generally “untitled”. This is because you’re simply looking at a group of settings. Vegas doesn’t care what preset you used – it just needs the various settings. In fact, it’s GOOD that it doesn’t remember the preset name because you may have made additional changes/adjustments to those base settings.

    Got it…
So would you suggest naming a new preset and saving it so you can go back and repeat its use in other areas?

Yes, that would be a reasonable thing to do.

The full version MB for Vegas is MUCH better than the few you see in the sample. Also, you have complete control for tweaking.
