Anyone else have installation problems with Vegas 7?
This isn’t a cry for help, because I solved the problem.
But I found that Vegas 7 would not let me install to anything other than the default directory.
Worse, I found that once installed, it couldn’t see my existing files, or my attached Firewire camcorders or decks. This turned out to be because Vegas 6 was installed in a non-standard location and apparently Vegas 7 couldn’t find the driver files it needed.I’m disappointed that Sony would release a product that is so stupid it can’t find parts of itself unless they are right under its nose.
