    Hi,

I wonder if there is a way to draw a line over an object in Vegas Video? For example, if I have a map displayed and I want to highlight a path on the map from A to B where the motion starts at, A extends across the path as the timeline progresses, and and ends at B with the entire path between A and B being highlighted.

I see this done on TV all the time, and wonder if it can be done in Vegas without some kind of add-on.

If nothing else, you have the Paint program that comes with WIndows XP: Start>Acesssories>Paint.

Draw the line, and in Vegas, transition between the two versions of the map (one without the line, one with) with a wipe or use an animated bezier mask.

Does anyone have a good source of high quality inexpensive maps? I need a few showing road detail. Tried Google Earth professional “Path” feature (which is very cool!), but it’s rendering engine is so inefficient, even on a dual core PC that the final result is useless.
