    Hi!

I am about to change my 2 traditional monitors for LCD’s ones. Someone told me that for editing LCDs are no good because of the speed response. Is that right? Should I stay with normal ones?? Does anybody who use LCD can tell me how does it fell???

    Thanks

I went LCD 2 years ago and don’t regret it at all.
I still have an external video monitor for colour correction but that’s it.

Jorge, I have a pair of 17″ IBM Thinkvision LCD monitors. They were not my first choice but I work for a community college and, at the time of purchase, we had a computer agreement with IBM so that’s what we had to go with.

I’m in the process of building a new computer for personal use and my monitor will the the 24″ Dell.
A lot of Vegas folks are using it (sometimes 2 of them!!) and it gets rave reviews.

    Thanks, Mike!
I will see what I can get down here in Rio de Janeiro that will be similar to the ones you have mentioned.
    Tks,

    Hi Jorge,

I have a Dell 24″ LCD widescreen as Mike stated earlier and a regular 19″.
    Now I’m hooked.
    Happy editing.
