  MP3 Video Encoding – limited data rate

  When rendering videos there is no option to encode MP3’s at a higher than 56 kbit 22hz data rate. I had this working before but am installing on my new computer.

  However, I’m able to encode audio files at much higher mp3 bit rates… I even installed lame, it wasn’t working so I copied the dll into the vegas mp3plug2 directory – it worked !!! but only at the highest 320 kbit setting…arggh getting frustrating…so how do i activate/register this mp3 plugin so I have the option for higher mp3 data rates when rendering video files ?
