    Hello,

I like Vegas (7c), new to it though. I shot some test video at 24p, progressive verticle scan, in 16:9 mode. But when I view the thumbnail properties the (2 file is 60i, with 2:3 pull-down, at 16:9 mode. My problem is I can’t figure how how to set Vegas’ timeline to yield the 16:9 image(s) i am looking for. Instaed the various options all yield 4:3. What am I doing wrong ? I am using a P2 SPX800. My gold is to provide DVDs at widescreen. Thanks, Patrick

I may have answered my own question:

I shot at 16:9 DVcpro 50 at 24p. Which would be pixel ratio of 1.2

But after I used Raylight to convert the footage to AVI
I found that the AVI files now were DV at 0.9 pixel ratio.

Thus, when I render out the timeline in Vegas 7c the mismatch of pixel ratios messes up my end product.
