  FX on Top Track to effect all below?

  Can I run a Lens Flare FX on the top Track Event and have it effect (Show-up) all the lower Events?

  I tried a few things but I

  Add the lens flare to the top track.
  In the FX dialog, make sure you hit the pre/post toggle next to the FX name to the left of the keyframe controller, so the arrow points to thr right.

  Make each other track you want to effect a compositing child of that track.

  Thank you! Worked like a charm!!

  I have about 8 other Tracks below, so I had to make all of them child so that it would pass through all and show over the very last one too: The Background Animation!

  I was worried that some of the settings (3D, etc.) may get messed up. But no, they all worked fine.

  But I had to do all this for just a 10 second Lens Flare!! Oh well, better than not being able to get it done!

  P.S. For future reference, is there anything that may get messed-up by taking this action that I should be cautious of?
