Sequence of text events with consecutive numbers
I am creating a photo slide show where I want a consecutive number to appear on each slide. I created a text event with the numeral “1” with properties that were suitable and same length as the slides and pasted it on a video track. I duplicated the event 75 times (the number of slides), but then I have to edit each text event to change the “1” to 1,2,3, etc.
Not being familiar with scripting (I can run them, just not write them) , I’d like to know if there is an easier way. It only will take a few minutes, but I’d like to to avoid tedium and maybe learn something new in the process.

Scripting cannot change the text of a text generated media.
The best I’ve been able to do is the Quick Labels tool in Excalibur. There’s a sample video of it in use at http://www.jetdv.com/excalibur
