  Open EXR support and Single frame rendering

  Two questions.
  1) Can anyone tell me if/when OpenEXR files will be supported in Vegas?
  2) Is it possible to render out a series of still images (targas, pngs or jpgs etc) instead of a movie/avi?

  You can get a series of PNG or JPG. Just go to Tools – Scripting – Render Image Sequence
