I have a 14 minute video which is complete. I also have 8 different 3 minute clips. I need to add one of these clips either at the beginning or end to the 14 minute video. So in the end I will have 8 different videos. The 14 minute video plus one of the 3 minute clips added to it.

I will use DVDA to turn this video into a DVD. I need to create a single movie in DVDA with no menus.

My question: Do I need to render the 14 minute and 8 different 3 minute clips 8 different times? Or can I render the 14 minute clip in Vegas as a MPEG-2, render the 8 different 3 minute clips as MPEG-2s and then just add one of the clips to the beginning or end to the longer video and have it come out as a single movie in DVDA?

I hope all this makes sense.

    Thanks,
    Mike Sullivan

Add all the media files to the project overview. Then set the End Action (what happens after the media play is done) so that the destination of one file is the next one you want to play.

Yes, you can do it with end-action at the end of the longer media to start the 3-minute end media, but most (all?) DVD players will pause momentarily while the player finds and buffers the new media.
