  Not Sure Where To Ask This

  Yeah I don’t know where to ask this question but I am using Vegas though. I thought my camera (JVC HD100) had a capturing problem and got it fixed, but it is doing the same thing, which is not capturing onto my computer. It always used to, but this along with my other camera will not capture as well, which now I am thinking that it is my computer. Is there anything that I can reinstall so that the computer will recognise the camera connection, or something in the settings that I can activate? I am using Windows XP.

  Any way to check your firewire port with some other device?
