  ‘secret’ prefs in cs4/ae9?

  recently learned about the secret prefs in ae (shift key and preferences). now i have cs4/ae9 (osx) and can’t seem to find it. anyone know if it still resides somewhere?

  i don’t know for sure if cs4 has the secret pref, but on a mac the secret pref has a slight extra trick, you need to hold the shift key and the mouse button the entire time you go thru the dropdown menu to select a pref (old school mac style), you can’t hold the shift key and the click the ae menu, then click prefernces, then click a pref (like general) to then get the secret pref… at least it was that way up until cs3.
