  Event FX have stopped working in Vegas?

  Can anyone tell me if there is a way to accidentally turn off or disable the Event FX in Vegas 5.

  I used to be able to use the ‘Brightness & Contrast’ plug in on my laptop while editing but for some reason it doesn’t work any more and none of the other FX do either. In other words no noticable difference can be seen in the clip when moving the sliders either way.

  They have all worked before on previous projects so I was wondering if I have done something to disable them?

  Any help would be really appreciated.
