  HVR-V1(E)(U) NTSC/PAL

  Can anyone tell me whether or not the Sony HVR-V1(E)or (U) is switchable between NTSC/PAL?

  According to the initial reports, it is not. The Z1 is still the only Sony HDV cam that can handle both formats in a single camcorder.
