  Displaying solid color on track

  Anyway to switch events displayed on video tracks to solid colors in Vegas? This was one feature in Premier that was handy when one wished to get an overall feel for where and how events or ‘clips’ lined up on a particular video track.

  If you drop a solid colour on to a video event and choose “Add as takes” it will replace the event, then toggling with “T” will change back and forth from video to colour. This is an event by event operation – I don’t know if the Premiere function you mentions does all at once.

  To add as take you have to drag and drop with Right mouse button …
