    You mean you want Uncompressed? Certainly, just pick AVI and Uncompressed.

    But, then again, what’s the source? If you’re starting with DV-AVI the you should go back to DV-AVI (which would be 1:1 in matching the source).

    Ah, I get what you are sayin. Yeah, I am usin DV. My college professor was bragging about how Avid could do completely uncompressed video… and claimed that Final Cut is all compressed. Didn’t mention anything about Vegas.

    Your professor’s an idiot. Any of the big NLE’s can do completely uncompressed video. They’re also all non-destructive editing.

    Sorry if that language is a little strong, but I hate it when people get paid to supposedly know stuff, and they don’t, then to make it worse they go running their mouth as if they did, and it’s not true so everyone who’s there and supposed to trust them to know things gets misguided. (How’s that for an educated sentance?) 🙂
