Movie Studio Platinum question…
Howdy folks. I have Movie Studio Platinum and had a quick question. I have a video of my son playing football and I would like to be able to highlight or distinguish him in some way as they are very far away in the video. Some sort of a glow around him, or an arrow pointing to him etc. Is my version capable of doing something such as this? All help is greatly appreciated!

Yes. Put a black generated media on the track above the video. Lower the opacity of it until you can see the video through it but it still seems “darkened”. Now use the Cookie Cutter effect on the generated media to cut a hole in it allowing him to show brightly while the rest is darkened. You’ll need to use several keyframes for the “hole” to follow the action.

OK bear with me and I apologize for being so ignorant here lol. I finally got around to giving this a go. Adding the darkened area was cake. Where do I find the cookie cutter effect though? It just seems to be eluding me! lol
