  aligning text?

  HI
  I have a problem with aligning text. I want to have a number of words displaying after each other… all beginning with ex A (Angry, Answer, Applause… aso). And the “A” should stay the same while the end of the word is changing. But I haven’t succeded to do that. According to the amount of letters it will adjust to one of the side (Im having one textbox pr word)

  And no matter how I align the text, and though I copy the textbox and change the word, it wont align well)… What buttom, function did I miss?

  I’m using Vegas 6

  Make sure:

  1) The text is LEFT justified
  2) The “Placement” tab is also left justified (i.e. “Center Left”)
  3) Adjust the actual postion using Track Motion or Pan/Crop.

  thanks… I found that it works whenever the position is center left (or left botton/top)… but I actually wanted a specific position in the right side (and here my only option will be “Free Form”…), and then I’m still left with the aligning problem…

  To adjust every textbox using P/C would be fairly complicated as I’m going to have hundreds of words! But is that the only option then?

  Thanks so far (at least I’m pleased, that it works in the left side…

  As I said, use Track Motion to move it to the right if that’s where you want it. Just make sure the “Position” tab is on one of the “left” settings.

  Once you get your first “A” word positioned as per the above suggestion P&C/Track motion then copy and paste for each succeeding word. You will ahve to change the lettering but the positioning will remain.

  Hi Morton,

  I see your from Copenhagen. What a wonderful place. My wife & I were out there a couple of years ago. Great pedestrian walkway. The fjords in Norway are spectacular. I took plenty of movies and pictures to edit in Vegas.

  Not to nit-pick (if that is what I am doing) but Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark while you are absolutely correct in that Norway has beautiful fjords.
