Hi, cheers for me with my first post.

But lets get down to business.
For a project of mine I’m trying to link my producer to an null object.
But I found out that they both work with a different n numerical system.

I tried to use the expression:
    thisComp.layer(“Null 1”).transform.position[0] for the X axis
    and
    thisComp.layer(“Null 1”).transform.position[1] for the Y axis.

I hope I make some sort of sense and I really hope someone can help me.

    Thx in advance.

    Groets,
    Nick

Hey there, Andrew Kramers tutorial on 3D stroke is what I think exactly what you need, about half way through he explains how to properly link your position handles from your particle to your null object.

There should be an animation preset installed with CycoreFX named something like “Link AE3D to PW3D”. If not, go to cycorefx.com and download the project “Link AE3D to PW3D”. It contains the expression I think you are looking for.
