  Freezing frame to add commentary

  Hello,
  I am trying to pause the audio and video but keep the video frame showing while I add commentary on another audio track;
  then resume the A/V. In other words, I want to bridge the commentary with the last frame at this point, no audio.

  just use a velocity envelope on that clip, keyframe at pause point at 100%, another keyframe at 0%, and extend it as you like
