On Final Cut there is an option called smart smoother or color smoother or something like that that helps to saturate the blue in a blue screen so that you get a good key. Can I do this with Vegas? I shot some stuff on a blue screen but one side is a little darker because of my lighting. I’m trying to get a good key, but its not coming up as well as I want. Any tips? Thanks.

Can you drag a range of blues that covers what you’ve got there?

How would I do that? Just add a couple chroma key effects and select a different color for each?

I’ve been messing with it more, but can’t get it to work well. Is there any effect that will help to get it to key both shades of blue?

Hold down the mouse button and drag over a larger area of the blue to include the different shades. I think that is what Gary is telling you.

Yes, click on the eyedropper, then drag across the different shades of the background.

I didn’t know you could do that. Thanks, I will try that out.
