So I tried doing a bit of research before posting, but failed to find what I was looking for! Hope someone here can help.

At our work just bought lenscare for After Effects because a client wanted a specific DOF look. I spent an hour or so reading through the manual that came with it to familiarize myself with it and tried a test composition.

I took a pComp with a single layer that has a circular ramp from white to black on it. (Generate > Ramp).

In my main comp I used lenscare on an adjustment layer and set the depth layer to my pComp (ramp).

It started to look amazing as I fiddled with the settings, but when I got to “Info Density” I noticed a circular image and the left side was RED! This means that artifacting was happening at this point, but not on the right side of the image. Its the same circular ramp all the way around, so how can I fix this glitch?

Here is the image of the Info Density:

And here is the depth layer:

Any help would be great! I cant seem to find any useful topics about lenscare and its utils.

    Thanks.
