  Jerky render

  I am trying to render a project that my wife wants me to make for her website.
  Track 1: 27 sec. video
  Track 2: 27 sec. audio
  Track 3: 10 sec. soft shadow text
  Track 4: 27 sec. video
  Track 5: 27 sec. video

  The effect that I have going is: on #1 I have a panning slideshow (wmv file)of my daughter’s wedding.
  Next track is the sound that was incorporated into the wmv file of track #1 when it was originally rendered.
  Track #3 is a 10 second soft shadow text, where halfway in the total 27 second project, the text fades in/fades out.
  Track $4 is a video file of a spinning diamond ring on greenboard background.
  Track #5 is a Video file of a waving (see through) satin cloth (like a curtain waving in the wind)

  So the total effect is that you see a rotating gold diamond ring in the foreground, with the waving cloth behind it, and the panning slideshow behind all that.
  The problem that I am having is that it plays fine on the timeline, but when I render it, and play the file it plays very jerky and slow. I have rendered in AVI, & MOV, and it really doesn’t make a difference.
  System: AMD Athlon XP 3000+
  2.17GHz, 1.75 GB of RAM

  Did you try rendering this as Mpeg 2? If you want to put this on a DVD
  that would be the format to got with.

  Also you can try a batch render instead and see how that turns out.

  One more question is this HDV video?

  If so, a batch render has to be done first to convert the files on the timeline
  to be able to work with the HDV tracks.

  Also make sure you have the latest updates for you version of Vegas, this will
  fix any bugs that you might have.
