  At work, my Vegas 5.0 will bring VOB files directly into timeline for editing. At home, same version of Vegas, I have to change the ext to mpg then it will recognize it.

  What’s different?

  Charlie,

  By “recognize”, do you mean see it in the list of available files? Or you can see it on both but only the one at work will “read” it?
