  AC-3 Encoder Purchase?

  I just installed Vegas 6.0d on my new Sony Vaio laptop. I previously had it installed on another laptop. Registration went smoothly without error messages. When I tried to render a soundtrack with Dolby AC-3 encoding, I was informed in a message that the purchase of a $199 AC-e encoder was necessary. My understanding was that the AC-3 encoder was part of Vegas. Am I missing something here?

  Just recalled the issue…I had not installed DVD Archtect on the system, so it had not yet been installed. ..*blushes*
