  Blur Detection software

  I was looking at some footage of a HDV camera that had utilized a 35mm lens adaptor. The main benefit to the footage is that the focal range/DOF was tiny. This led me to speculate that it shouldn’t be too hard to adapt software to this end.

  Question: Is there any software out there that is capable of finding the “edges” in your footages focal range and blurring out the rest (or select ranges) of the footage?
