  Cleaning Up Audio from a VHS Tape

  I have recently imported a file that was originally shot on VHS. I am picking up some unwanted artifacts similar to those found on a record. Any thoughts about reducing or eliminating this noise?

  What sound editing software are you using? Most apps will have a click/pop filter and a hiss filter that should do what your looking for.
  Did the VHS tape use the Hi-Fi or the linear audio track?
