  Question about 16:9

  Hi all. I was looking into buying a Panasonic DVX100a. Problem is, I’m looking to shoot feature films. I hear that this camera does not shoot native 16:9. Can anyone explain if it is still possible to shoot a 16:9 film with this camera and how that would be accomplished,… including potential pitfalls. Am I better off getting a canon XL1?

  I guess you are buying the Panasonic for 24p. Why aren’t you considering HDV? Everything is moving to HD.
