Before I pull my hair out, I thought I’d ask here 🙂
I’m finishing a 4-part DVD for the dental dept. at my college.
What I want to do is have a tooth logo I created appear beside the selected title in the menu as the viewer navigates through the menu.
For example, the tooth is beside title 1 when the menu page comes up. When they navigate to title 2, the tooth should disappear from title 1 and appear next to title 2.
I’ve gone through the manuals and new features PDFs for DVDA 2 & 3 as well as searching this and other forums for answers but no luck.
I’m doing obviously missing something as it’s not working for me the way I want.
I’ve tried masking but the tooth comes up semi-transparent and not the nice clean logo I want it to be.
    Am I asking too much?
    I’m using DVDA 3.0c BTW.

Sorry for the delay Edward but I had some students come in.
I’ve been through your tutorial and, unless I’m completely missing something, it’s not what I’m after.
If you look at these screenshots, the tooth is my problem.
As I navigate through the 4 options, I want the tooth to act as the “highlight” object.
Is this even possible with the current version of DVDA?
I’ll be glad to send you the dar file & graphics if it’ll help. Thanks.

Mike, the general technique is in the article. I e-mailed you another document that contains more specifics.
