    Hi,

I have an image of a soccer ball.
I want to show up number of clips on the
patches of this ball, for this I created
mask presets, each patch has it’s own mas.
Then I put the clip over the ball’s image
and mask it out, using the preset.
My problem is, that I want to reduce the clip’s
size behind the mask, but I can’t do it.
    To make it clear:
the mask cuts the piece of the clip, so that let’s
say only the leg of a man is visible, but I want the
whole man to show, but when zoom out with pan/crop,
the mask gets zoomed out too….

Other words: my problem is that vegas first masks, then
does the pan/crop, and I’d need to pan/crop first, then mask the result.

A track level bezier mask would do also, but didn’t find such thing.

Sorry for my bad english, hope I was clear enough.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Never mind, I got it.

Just placed the clip in a separate track,
a child track, the parent track (multiply/mask) is solid white,
and I mask this white track with my presets,
so I can pan/crop the child track and the mask
    stays in place…

    Hurray.

I knew it’s possible, just had to type to get the idea…

    :))
