I would like to have a menu that shows words with transparent letters, and behind the words have video playing visible through the words, but I don’t want the whole screen to be a button. I want to have separate buttons for “play” and “chapters.” Can this be done? Is there a tutorial somewhere? TIA, Jim

If the text is transparent, how will we see it? Do you want to do this with an outline of the text? Does the text appear within the button, or does it have to cross over into the background?

Sorry, I could have explained this better. I would like the screen to be black with an outline of text. I would like for video to be visible behind the text. However, I do not want the whole screen to be a button. Rather, I would like to have two buttons at the bottom of the screen, one saying “play all” and the other saying “chapters.” Hope that is clearer. Jim

You will need to create the background video in Vegas. Use that for the menu background and then just add the two buttons on the menu as needed. If you want the buttons to look different as well, you can create the button text on the menu background and just add an “empty button” on top of those sections.
