  Unable to set “Cursor to Right by Frame” as per Gary’s tutorial

  I’m currently viewing Gary’s Vegas 6 tutorial dvds and have hit a small snag: In Preferences/Keyboard/Tracklist, after assigning the “Cursor to.Right by Frame” to the Right Arrow (as the dvd suggests) and doing the left by frame to the Left arrow key, after applying it, it doesn’t work.

  It’s my understanding that no matter what the zoom is set to, it will move in one frame increments by hitting the appropriate arrow key. Well, mine is still contingent on what zoom level I have my timeline set to—as if I didn’t even apply the new settings, which I did. The Tracklist menu confirms that I made the new setting. Hmmmmm.

  What am I doing wrong?

  Okay, I was told to use the TrackView category instead of
  Tracklist and lo and behold, it now works. Interesting.
