Got Vegas 6 but using Vegas 5
Well it’s strange I can only capture video with Vegas 5. Vegas 6 doesn’t even recognize my GL1. I read the help menu for Vegas 6, I used the external capture like they said for DV, but no luck. I’ve been using Vegas for 3 years now and never had any trouble capturing anything until now. I read about people having trouble capturing HD stuff but not regular DV stuff. I’ve reinstall Vetgas 6 about 10 times, I’ve tried version A B and C, but still no good. So I’m using Vegas 5 which is a bummer because I’ve saved out some projects as Veags 6 and can’t go back. Anyone else having trouble with capturing with Vegas 6?

There is NO problem capturing in Vegas 5 and editing in Vegas 6. However, if the Vegas 5 capture works, the Vegas 6 capture should work as well. You should definitely be on Vegas 6.0c

Hey thanks mate for your reply. GIves me a little more faith in Vegas 6. But still I’m not sure where to go from here you know? So your capturing in 6?

Yes, I have been capturing with Vegas 6. For a basis: I’m using Win XP SP1 capturing from my deck. Vidcap has been working fine here.

go to the Sony media website and download the upgrade for 6.0c.
