Smooth credit roll??
Posted by Wade Harrington on October 13, 2005 at 5:56 amWhat’s the trick to get smooth credit rolls, instead of the Jerky ones I have been getting? I used a the 10 second default preset, and changed it to 15 seconds. I’m in a 24PA timeline progressive.

October 13, 2005 at 7:21 amIs your credit roll jerky before or after rendering?
Preview can sometimes be stuttery but this should be smooth after rendering.

October 13, 2005 at 6:45 pmMost if not all DVD players have a setting to loop the program. You don’t have to do anything in DVDA, just record your program and you can loop it endlessly, endlessly, endlessly, endlessly, endlessly…

October 14, 2005 at 12:36 amAs a comparison, you can create scrolling credits yourself manually –
Open a normal text event and type in your credits, allowing them to continue downwards when you reach the bottom of the frame.
Use the Placement tab to set keyframes, e.g.-
First Keyframe, position the credits so the first line is just out of sight at the bottom.
End Keyframe, position text so that the last line is just out of sight at the top.
