  • Can’t get “Audio device” to accept a 5.1 setup….

Trying to mix a 5.1 video, but when I go to Preferences > Audio Device, and then try to change the playback devices to “Front L/R”, “Rear L/R”, etc etc, I keep getting the message “The device SB Audigy 2 ZS ASIO (A400) does not support the current sample rate or bit depth”. Huh? What the heck does that mean? I don’t understand how to set this up so I can add 5.1 channels of stuff to my video.

Thanks all for any help you may have………

Go to File – Properties – Audio tab. Change the settings there to match what your card can handle. You’ll have to check the documentation of the card to determine that information.
