Pick whipping Masks to a Motion Track
Hey, guys. I’ve gotten a lot of good help from this place, so I thought I’d come back now that I have another problem.
I have a clip of a doorway, during which the camera looks at the top of the door, then pans down to show the whole door. The top of the doorway stays in view the whole shot, so I have been able to motion track the top right corner of the door frame. I am adding in a different door into the doorway than was there originally.
My problem is that, I have masked out the original door in the footage on the first frame, and I want to pick whip the mask to the Null object I have applied the motion track to, or somehow otherwise make the mask follow the motion track, so that when the camera pans down to show the whole door, the mask will continue to cover the doorway as if my replacement door has been there the whole time. I just can’t figure out how to do that, if there is even a way. Will I just need to rotoscope the whole thing?
Let me know it that description is confusing at all.
Thanks for any help.
